A SEVEN day cruise of the Greek islands and Turkey departing from Iraklion every Monday night.

Mykonos is the most sophisticated of the Greek Islands. Near the colorful town of winding streets, charming whitewashed houses and posh boutiques, you'll find perfect beaches to visit. For archaeology lovers, the sacred site of Delos is nearby.

Visit the cave where St. John wrote the Book of Revelations and the nearby monastery with its priceless manuscripts and jewelled robes. Or take an insider's tour of Patmos including the 300-year-old House of Simandris.

Legend has it that Apollo blessed this isle with sunshine and beauty True to the myths; Rhodos welcomes you to magnificent scenery and umbrella-lined beaches. One optional excursion explores the medieval Old Town where the Grand Master's Palace is famed for its superb mosaic floors.

Your ship anchors in deep blue water in the curve of a collapsed volcano's cone of Santorini. Ascend, the frost-white town of Thira for an optional winery tour, and then visit Oia for a glimpse of the island's seafaring past. Or choose an archaeological excursion to the ancient Minoan town of Akrotiri.

Witness Ephesus-one of the greatest cities of antiquity and one of the best restored on an optional tour from Kusadasi. Walk along the marble paving, you can almost hear the steps of marching Roman region or the ardent preaching of St. Paul addressing the Ephesians.

Hydra was once home to seafaring merchants who built Italian-style villas overlooking the harbour. Wander along the traffic-free waterfront, lined by shops, taverns and bakeries. Then ascend the hills on a donkey and enjoy splendid views from the Monastery of St. Constantine.

Amorgos is an island of Cyclades with important sites, since it was one of the centers of the Cycladic civilization. Three towns, Arkesini, Minoa and Egiali appeared to be the most important in the past. It is a strange place of 121 square km of land and 1650 inhabitants, with high mountains. Byzantine years have left their touch on the churches spread around. "Hora" with the Venetian castle built during the 13th century is the capital of the island.

A natural harbour filled with yachts greets you at Marmaris. In this Turkish jewel you will find plenty of places to shop and sample the local cuisine. Or travel to tranquil Dalyan to see the ancient site of Katmos and the Lycian tombs carved from the rocks.

Piraeus is the port for Athens, where you can step from the shadow of the Acropolis into the world of the modern day Olympics. Sip a coffee with ouzo and join the Greeks in a toast to a new "golden age".

Iraklion, the capital town of Crete and its principal commercial port is just three miles away from the fantastic ruins of the Palace of Knossos. Discovered in 1899 by Sir Arthur Evans and partialy reconstructed, the elaborate palace is believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos and the seat of ancient Minoan Culture. The Archaeological Museum of Iraklion displays many of the treasures found during the excavations.
