Caribbean Coral
Six day cruise aboard the SEABOURN LEGEND starting on November 24, 2001 from Bridgetown in Barbados.
Cruise the Caribbean Sea, Bequia in Grenadines, Castries in St. Lucia, Roseau and Portsmouth in Dominica, Charlestown in Nevis, Gustavia in St. Barthelemy, returning in San Juan in Puerto Rico.
Bridgetown's British-influenced town centre features its own Trafalgar Square. But the fine ivory beaches front a sea of luminous Caribbean blue and the countryside is green with sugar cane. A lovely excursion visits a restored plantation house and a quiet parish church.
Join the ranks of the celebrity holidaymakers who have discovered Bequia's pristine charms. Play castaway from our anchorage.
Tall, green and lush, St. Lucia is one of the truly untouched Caribbean isles. Fly above Les Pitons, the spectacular twin peaks, in a helicopter. Or drive up the winding road to the fishing village of Soufriere, and go on foot to see the mountain's volcanic fumaroles and bubbling mud pots up close.
In the waters around Dominica, parrot fish and angelfish dart among the corals and sponges. This rugged volcanic island is the ideal place for snorkeling, or hiking in the rain forest. The tranquil capital of Roseau remains pleasantly untouched by the demands of tourism.
The setting is enchanting. Towering mountains, cascading waterfalls and cloud forests adorn the landscape of Dominica. The small, colourful homes along Portsmouth's one main road are the truest testament to the quiet, unspoiled nature of this island.
From the sea, Nevis appears to be a perfect dark green cone, usually crowned with white clouds. At the foot of Mount Nevis, you will find beaches with calm waters for snorkeling and a lush rain forest trail for hiking.
From the busy harbour it is just a short walk to the historic streets of Old San Juan, where Old World charm still exudes its magic. Outside the city visit the only rainforest on U.S. soil.
This cruise is performed by SEABOURN CRUISES on board SEABOURN LEGEND running on the following dates during year 2001.
