Christmas Caribbean
Nineteen day cruise aboard the SEABOURN SUN starting on December 21, 2001 from Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
Cruise the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean, Oranjestad in Aruba, Puerto Caldera in Costa Rica, Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, San Diego in California, returning in Fort Lauderdale.
Smaller and less busy than nearby Miami, Fort Lauderdale offers easy access to hotels, motorways and airports, which helps make getting to the ship more convenient.
Experience the "Over-and-Under" beauty of Aruba. First, explore colourful Arashi Reef and the massive wreck of the Antilla aboard the semi submersible Seaworld Explorer. Overland, pass the lighthouse on a scenic drive to the awesome Casibari rock formations, fashioned by the wind and motion of the sea. Stop along the way at Santa Anna's Catholic Church, famous for its magnificent oak altar.
It's a quick trip inland to Costa Rica's welcoming , famed for its lovely parks and wonderful buys at local markets. Or enjoy the lush countryside as you visit the Carara Biological Reserve.
Undoubted Queen of the Mexican Riviera, Acapulco has grown from a fishing village to a world-class resort catering to the desires of, world travellers for sun, fun and festive flair. See daredevil feats performed at La, Quebrada, where divers leap from 130-foot s into the sea.
Set in a beautiful cove of the Pacific, Mazatlan is both a major port and an important tourist resort offering 10 miles of superb sandy beaches. The varied scenery led early navigators to mistake Mazatlan for an island, before it was settled to become the cradle of culture on Mexico's Pacific Coast.
This cruise is performed by SEABOURN CRUISES on board SEABOURN SUN running on the following dates during year 2001.
