Found in a wild and preserved area at South Pantanal, in one of the island of the Delta of Salobra, close to the city of Miranda, on the bank sides of Salobra River, a small river with crystalline water which comes from the Bodoquena Ridge.
The Pousada Refugio da Ilha in Miranda is an eco lodge, ideal place to be in touch with nature, wild life, as well to relax and enjoy the very good Pantanal Cuisine. It is a small and traditional lodging in perfect harmony with nature with only 7 simply decorated bedrooms all comfortable and with terrace equipped with hammock for a good siesta.

The pousada welcome you with hospitality in a simple decor but very cosy. Surrounded by a charming natural environment one of the most preserved and beautiful places in Pantanal, close to the board between the Bodoquena "Sierra" and Pantanal.

The restaurant with outdoor terrace proposes home made, traditional meals, cookies, bread with a delicious buffet breakfast to start well your day before adventure. A great selection of activities are available like trekking Safari in a pick-up, boat trip for observation of fauna and flora, horse ride in the savannah, canoeing as well as nocturnal observation of animals with a spotlight, snorkelling in the Salobra River and bike cycling.
