Set within beautiful landscaped grounds with ancient Ceiba trees, lagoon-style stone-lined swimming pools and a flowing river, the luxury bungalows are surrounded by 50 acres of wild jungle which is home to hundreds of species of tropical birds.

The 70 casitas (tasteful bungalow style buildings with sturdy concrete instead of palm-thatch roofs) are spread across the resort grounds. Some are by the pool; others are set back into the jungle or next to the river.

The bungalows around the small wading pool are perfect for families with children, as you can keep an eye on your offspring from the comfort of your patio terrace. All rooms have two double beds, fan, traditional Mexican wooden furniture and a spotless bathroom.

Chan Kah has an enormous roomy restaurant, big enough to accommodate the large tour groups. Meals are mainly buffet style with a range of Mexican and European dishes.

The resort has 2 meeting rooms, each of which can accommodate up to 100 people; they can provide full business and conference facilities.
