Colonial Hotel is close to the Zocalo Main Square in the heart of the downtown area of Puebla, Mexico. A 3 star Puebla hotel a few steps from the historical centre, part of UNESCO's World Heritage program because of its beautiful historic architecture.
Colonial Hotel in Puebla has been on the city map since 1668, this building was constructed by the Jesuits, after they built the Espiritu Santo church and its college, located right across the street.

It was a Jesuit monastery until the end of the 18th century and changing to a hotel restaurant from the middle of the 19th century up to our days.

Colonial Hotel in Puebla has 67 guest rooms and one of the oldest elevators of the country (1890) in operation. There are no air conditioned rooms but the thickness of the walls insures the coolness or the heated of the accommodations decorated in a rustic style

You can try Mexican and regional specialties at the hotel's restaurant offering also a courtyard and open daily with a la carte meals.
