The Garnados 83 Hotel in Barcelona is situated in an old 19th century hospital that has been converted into a hotel. However, the spirit of the architecture of that time, -marked by the style of the emergent industry and workshops and built in an active, eager and full of hope frame of mind-, has been totally preserved.
Its structure of oxidised iron is reminiscent of New York's old lofts and it stands in contrast with the stone and glass facade and its extremely elegant, minimalist, Zen styled interiors.
It consists of 77 rooms, including several duplex, triplex and suites, some of which have their own private terraces and pools. All are spacious rooms with a touch of Zen style. They all are furnished with luxurious materials and have the most Avant- garde design, combining wood, fine leather, glass and Thasos white marble.
The hotel has two restaurant and bars. One of them offers creative Mediterranean cuisine next to the garden, the other, La Terraza, situated near the main swimming pool, focuses on fusion cuisine with Asiatic touches.
On the roof top enjoy the main swimming pool and solarium including also a bar serving drinks and snacks.
For your convenience there is one meeting room equipped with state of the arts technology that catering for up to 40 people creates an ideal work space for your small meetings.
