This is the first boutique hotel in the city and is exquisite in every sense of the word, combining functional design with personalised service. The hotel is located in the centre of Bilbao with a metro station just 800m away and the train station 1km. The International airport is 14km from the hotel.
The Miro Hotel is well located within walking distance to the Guggenheim museum, downtown and main shopping areas such as Gran Via. The hotel was designed by one of the countrys top fashion designers, Antonio Miro.
The 50 bedrooms are elegantly designed, well-decorated and furnished according to the very modern style to provide maximum comfort. Here, fine materials, maximum quality fabrics and up-to-date technology creates an ideal space for rest and intimacy.
The hip cocktail bar, Miro, just off the lobby is beige and fluorescent yellow. The bar is also a meeting point for art lovers, both local and international. It plays music from jazz to ambient and it serves original snacks, mid-day meals and evening meals. There is no restaurant but Bilbao has an outstanding range of options.
There is one meeting room which can be separated into 4 areas so as to hold simultaneously a variety of meetings. Capacities can range from 8 to 50 people. Audio/visual and communications facilities are available including Internet access. A catering service, from the hotel, has a selection of business menus available.
From the Latin, salus per aqua, Spa Miro is the ideal place to unwind from the stresses of the city. Miro hotel offers specific areas for ladies and for gentlemen which includes: Jacuzzi, steam bath and cold shower treatment. The use of Spa and gym is exclusive and free of cost for the clients of the hotel. Access to the Spa area can be done in the comfort of your bathrobe and slippers.
