Al Diar Sands Hotel is centrally located in the heart of the capital Abu Dhabi, within easy reach of the Commercial and Business districts, Government offices, Embassies and a 30 minute drive away from the International airport.
It is also a short drive from the new Marina and Abu Dhabi Malls (with over 400 shops), a 9-hole Golf and Equestrian centre and the picturesque Corniche. The Abu Dhabi Championship 36 hole Golf club is a 25 minute drive.
The Al Diar Sands Hotel in Abu Dhabi was built in 1978 and is a tall, white modern building with a medium sized elegant lobby with a marble floor.
The hotel boasts 253 beautifully appointed rooms and suites including an Amiri Suite (Royal Suite), and Club Sands Executive Floors with 60 rooms and suites along with a fully equipped Executive Club Lounge on the 16th floor. Every room is elegant and tastefully furnished and equipped with modern facilities.
For dining, there is a choice of 6 different styles of restaurants offering a wide range of cuisine from Chinese to Lebanese, Mediterranean to Italian and International, to suit all tastes. There is also all the space and audio/visual plus hi tech communications facilities to hold conferences, business meetings, exhibitions and social celebrations at the hotel. The meeting and banquet rooms can cater for up to 1000 people.
A shuttle service to and from the Beach club is available to guests as well as a rooftop swimming pool and a health club with sauna and state-of-the-art fitness equipment. On the 4th floor of the hotel guests can indulge in a Chinese massage.
