Don Juan Beach Resort Hotel, Boca Chica Bedroom Style Swimming Pool

The hotel is just 15km east from Las Americas International airport and a 30 minute drive to the centre of Santo Domingo where you can go shopping and visiting historical attractions.

The highlight of Boca Chica is its 500m long reef, which closes off the bay to form what is otherwise known as the world's largest pool.

The hotel provides excellent accommodations dispersed through spacious bright pastel coloured buildings that are nostalgic of a native old style fisherman's village nestled within lush tropical vegetation, surrounded by coconut and almond trees that line the beach. All the accommodations have modern amenities and 2 of the rooms are suitable for physically challenged guests.

Guests can dine in the Coral buffet restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner or in the a la carte La Caleta restaurant which only serves dinner. 2 pool snack bars are available and 1 terrace bar.

There is one swimming pool with a separate area for children and sun loungers and parasols are provided. Guests may make use of the sauna to help them unwind. Sports enthusiasts will find a diverse range of activities available including banana boating, taster diving in the pool as well as a PADI dive school, windsurfing, sailing, pedaloes, tennis, aerobics, a gym, horse riding, cycling/mountain biking and water skiing (added fees apply). The nearest golf course is 20 km away. There is also an entertainment program to provide some variation for guests during the day and in the evenings.
