Originally a cavern building, dating back to the 14th century which over the years has served as a Venetian mansion as well as a monastery's quarters and storage house now The Porto Fira Hotel has been beautiful restored in accordance with the architecture and geometry of the buildings of Santorini and has been granted by G.N.T.O. the Greek National Tourism Organisation as a traditional type hotel, one of the only 28 of this type on the island.
