The Monasterio De San Francisco Hotel in Palma Del Rio was constructed by the 7th Lord of Palma del Rio, decreed in his will. In the 19th century the property changed ownership by the church to the family Moreno de la Cova who restored and used it as their family residence. At the end of the 20th century it was converted into a hotel, maintaining rigorous respect for the austerity of the cells and the general character of the building.The hotel has 35 double rooms with classical decor and fully equipped with modern amenities that you would expect in a hotel of this category.In the restaurant you can enjoy the fine Andalusia and Mediterranean cuisine with a slight touch of Cordoba gastronomy. During the summer season dinner is served outside in one of the magnificent inner courtyards, illuminated with candlelight.The hotel has a large bar area for guests, open all day long.
