De Crillon Hotel is a deluxe class Paris hotel next to the elegant Rue du Faubourg St Honore overlooking the sumptuous Place de la Concorde in (8th arrondissement) Paris, Ile-de-France, France. The Champs-Elysees and the Louvre Museum are also nearby.
De Crillon Hotel in Paris is rich in history and culture; in 1758 the eminent architect Jacques-Ange Gabriel drew up the plans for the future "Place Louis XV", including two palaces of nearly one hundred meters in length, fronted by a Corinthian colonnade. One of the palaces was initially home to the Duc d'Aumont, who decorated it sumptuously in the typical French style of the period.
In 1788, the Comte de Crillon acquired it, and gave it his name. De Crillon remained a family home until 1907, before being turned into a hotel in 1909. The property remains in private hands and belongs to a famous French family, the Taittingers.
De Crillon Hotel features 147 guest rooms and suites generous, elegant, with a refined French eighteenth-century decor, a rare luxury. Each bedroom offers its own decor and colour scheme including a wide range of amenities at your disposal.
For your dining experience you can choose between the large choices that the Crillon Hotel in Paris proposes such as les Ambassadeurs which invites you to discover its unique atmosphere now run by Jean-Francois Piege, one of the interpreters of French gastronomy, L'Obelisque, offering a traditional regional cuisine.
