Located in the Appenzell village, 780 meters above sea level at the foot of the mountain Saentis.
The Saentis Hotel is a charming and traditional hotel composed of three buildings that were born in three stages. The original residence goes back to 1800, the first appendix was built in 1963 and the most recent building in 1997. In 1853 already, the new owner requested an authorization for the exploitation of a restaurant. The building has thus fulfilled this function for this time, and in 1919, after several changes of hand, the Heeb family became the owner of it.
Today it offers fine accommodation service with 37 well equipped, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. Possibility of smoking and non-smoking rooms is also available at the hotel.
Dinning in the elegantly decorated restaurant will be a pleasant time while the service is with the height of the refinement of the kitchen. In the evening, the bar offers an ideal framework to discuss in all relaxation. Concerts of jazz take place last Sunday of each month.
