Situated in the area of Canton Ticino, amidst breathtaking mountains combined with views of the city and the Alps beyond, right on the waterfront of the lovely Lake Lugano, it is near the shopping area with the market place, tourist attractions and many excursions in the region.
The original hotel was built in 1870 and the building overlooking the lake was later added in 1907. The complex was renamed Hotel Eden in 1919 and its fame has steadily grown since.
