The Ferienart Walliserhof Hotel is a chalet style resort offering luxury accommodations and services, originally built in 1883 and 1976 was burnt down in a fire. Then the two brothers Albert and Erwin Anthamatten and their cousin Daniel Zurbriggen purchased the building land. The inaugural of the Hotel Walliserhof AG was in 1982 and was put down in the registration of companies, in 1983 the hotel reopened. It was enlarged with the wellness centre and many other extensions were done.
