Located right on the famous Bahnhofstrasse opposite the main railway station and it is only 15 minutes walk from the Lake of Zurich and close to various tourist attractions.
The architects Heinrich Honegger-Naf and Julius Bosshard constructed the Hotel Schweizerhof during the years of 1876/77. The hotel was originally called Hotel National and in 1918 was renamed to the Schweizerhof.

Renovated in 2001 today it offers 115 guestrooms and suites beautifully decorated and furbished providing elegant atmosphere with well-equipped services. Non smoking rooms are also available at the hotel.

For your dining pleasure the French restaurant Le Soupiere offers fresh seafood and other specialities from the regional cuisine and the Cafe Gourmet offer caviar and other delicacies, such as exotic salads and quick gourmet lunges.

Only a few steps from the hotel you will find two fitness- and wellness clubs which the the hotel works with, providing wellness treatments.
