Dona Maria Hotel was originally a XIV Century palatial mansion belonging to Samuel Levi, advisor and confidant of King Peter I, inherited in 1965 by Dona Angela Huesca Sasiain, she turned the mansion into a hotel, becoming the first woman hotel impresario of Seville, naming the hotel Dona Maria in honour of her aunt.

Keeping in family tradition it is now run by Dona Federica Valles and each of the 61 guest rooms has a different decoration and each room is dedicated to a famous woman from Seville, all the rooms have en suite facilities.
