The Eden Lancaster Hotel is situated in a tranquil and green residential area opposite the well known zoo Artis and close to the most important shopping streets, sights, nightspots and museums of Amsterdam. It is only 1 km from Waterlooplein Metro Station, 1.5 km from the central train station, and 15 km from Schiphol airport.
Though the Eden Lancaster Hotel in Amsterdam is provided with all modern conveniences, the characteristic atmosphere of the 100-year-old building has been retained. Each of the comfortable rooms has its own bathroom with toilet, hairdryer and a colour television with movie and information channels.
All the bedrooms of this hotel in Amsterdam were renovated completely in 2004 and now offer vastly improved accommodation with a relaxing beige and terracotta colour scheme, a desk in all bedrooms with an attractive leather chair and references throughout the bedrooms and hotel to the city of Amsterdam and its history.
Due to the central location of this hotel, it serves breakfast only and the breakfast room may be found on the lower ground floor. It too, was renovated in 2004 and now benefits from a lovely wooden floor, purple lighting, red chairs and many Dutch artefacts, giving it a bright and cheerful atmosphere.
In the classic styled lobby, guests can have a soft drink, coffee or tea at any time of the day. The internet computer in the hotel lobby is at guestÂ’s disposal 24 hours a day.
Within walking distance, you can find museums, theatres and a lively nightlife. Two famous squares - Rembrantplein and Waterlooplein, are in close proximity of the hotel. The canals that make the city of Amsterdam famous, just like the flee market, the shopping district and other tourist sights and museums are only a few minutes away.
