The Astoria Hotel in Genoa is situated in a building constructed in 1860 in the neo classical and liberty styles. The building was designed by the well known architect Barabino for the Marquis Serra family.

The inside reflects the elegant atmosphere that welcomes visitors, and the reception, the hall, the restaurant (which now has become as the breakfast room) and the elevator emphasize the elegant and clear design of the building.

The rooms many of which still appear in the original elegant design, the imperial suite on the fist floor which represents the era of the monarchy, the lobby with the ceiling decorated with frescos together with the renovated guest rooms reflect the classical elegance of Genoa.
