The Bonnschloessl was built in 1477. Since the renovation in 1987, the castle once again adds lustre to the village of Bernau. The hotel is family owned and operated; it endeavours to fulfil the wishes of guests. When you visit the hotel, you will be convinced of the fine service for which the Bonnschloessl is famous.The hotel with its tower and the castle park provide exquisitely furnished exclusive rooms with modern facilities.The Bonnschloessel is the ideal setting for romantic couples and those seeking a well-deserved respite. In the castle park, in the lounging area or on shade covered park benches under ancient trees and affectionately maintained flower beds, it is possible for nature lovers to enjoy the wonders of nature in full measure. Also for active guests the following is also provided: an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a squash centre, climbing-walls, a golf course in the area and an indoor bicycle storage area in the garage. In addition, nature in the area offers many possibilities for activities such as walks around the moor land and in mountainous regions, bicycling around the Chiemsee, climbing trails on the Kampenwand or a relaxing day bathing in the open-air swimming pool. You can enjoy steam and herb baths in the wellness facility, in which there is a Finnish sauna and after a light therapy take it easy in the relaxation area. A solarium makes the offer complete. In the winter you can ski down-hill, cross-country ski and ice skate on the frozen Chiemsee Lake.
