All rooms are exquisitely furnished with genuine hand painted Bavarian motif furniture. All rooms have shower, WC, TV, radio and telephone.

Guests can use wellness facilities in the sister hotel Bonnschloessl which is only a few foot steps away from the Alter Wirt, equipped with steam and herb baths, a Finnish sauna with light therapy, a relaxation area and solarium.

The hotel has an excellent kitchen with international and vegetarian dishes and, of course, traditional Bavarian dishes. All the food produce is from local farms and bakery products are freshly made in the hotel bakery. All meals can be enjoyed in the restaurant in the comfortable Zirbelstube or in the shady beer garden under chestnut trees. In the comfortable secondary rooms, small and large private celebrations can be arranged.

Discover the Chiemsee by boat - either by pedal, electric boat or with an unforgettable steamship trip to the islands of the Chiemsee. Take a refreshing swim at the idyllically situated swimming beaches of the Chiemsee, or in the Bernau sport pool. A trip with a bicycle around the Chiemsee is an unforgettable experience. Hike to the over 1800 m Kampenwand and be rewarded with a fantastic view of the Chiemsee and the Chiemgau countryside.
