Because of this hotels central location in the old town, you can reach the hotel easily and also all sights of interest are within walking distance. The Alter Speicher Hotel in Luebeck was built in 1989 and was the most modern and largest hotel in the old town of Luebeck. The guest rooms were refurbished at the beginning of 2002 with the designs by Hundertwasser (a modern artist). The private hotel is still managed by Birgit and Juergen Lentz, who built the hotel.

All the guest rooms have shower, toilets, telephone, minibar, radio, phone and sound proofed windows, etc. There are 45 rooms with 3 suites that have whirlpools and one family apartment.

There is a breakfast room providing a sumptuous breakfast buffet every morning. For special events arrangements can be made for groups up to 120 persons on request.

A fitness room is available for guests who like to stay fit and a sauna and solarium to relax in afterwards.
