The Steigenberger Hotel "Stadt Hamburg" offers various categories of hotel comfort in its rooms and suites, all with an international standard. Harmonious colours, fine textiles and materials ensure you will have a relaxing stay. Many of the rooms have a wonderful view over the largest closed market square in the North of Germany.

In the newly renovated Hotel "Stadt Hamburg" varied menus with regional and international cuisine are served in a traditional rustic setting in the restaurant cafe, Am Markt. In the hotel bar you can relax and let the day draw to a close over cocktails and drinks at the cosy bar (integrated into the restaurant). The historical beer cellar is located in the medieval barrel vault cellar dating back to the 14th century. Here you can enjoy traditional wholesome fare with a cool draught beer or sample one of our cocktails. The beer cellar is at present only used for special events.

The hotels own sauna centre has a Finnish sauna. After the sauna, you can enjoy a break on the roof terrace and relax with a wonderful view over the Hanseatic city. Bath robes are provided free of charge for hotel guests. Massages are available upon request and a hairdresser or beautician will be pleased to come to you in the hotel.

The hotel has 4 conference rooms, some of which can be connected with one another. They are flooded with light, sound-proofed and equipped with the most modern conference and lighting technology. With dimensions of 27 - 130 m² they can accommodate up to 150 persons. The hotels own catering service and banquet staff ensure that your event has the ideal setting: from small workshops to seminars and conferences or personal celebrations and large receptions.
