The land is rich in cork oaks, oaks, pines, fig trees, chestnuts, carob trees and olive trees. It is not that abundant in its fauna, although Hispanic goats, foxes, rabbits and Mediterranean partridges can be found.

There are also a lot of little streams that have been sometimes grounded by the town.

The sea offers a wide variety of species, such as sardines, hinds, porgies, red mullets, as well as mussels, clams, etc.
