The picturesque houses and villas, surrounded by marvellous gardens and Mediterranean macchia, are all around the bay, named Porto Cervo because of the many branches in the bay, like the horns of a deer.
In the south- eastern part of Porto Cervo is the Port named "Vecchio" - old- because it was the first to be built in the sixties, and one can admire it from the nice (and famous) central square, "la Piazzetta", where you can meet many V.I.P on summer time, and obviously a lot of tourists.
It is very interesting a visit to the little church Stella Maris, placed on the old village facing the Marina di Porto Cervo.
