This is a small island 36 n. miles east of Patmos.
This islet with its wonderful beaches is an ideal spot for anyone wishing to escape the pressures of everyday life for a while. In older times it was called Netousa or Tragea. Here the visitor's glance cannot stay cool. One experiences a never ending wandering adventure. The length of the island is 7 kilometres from the East to the west, while the width is 3 kilometres. The length of its coast is about 32 kilometres. It looks like a donkey, which gallops towards Meandrous river of Asia Minor where its muddy waters reach the eastern coasts of Agathonisi. There is a boat service linking the island with the rest of the Dodecanese several times a week and with Patmos twice a week. There is also a pension and rooms to let.
