Hampstead
Hampstead is officially said to be part of inner London and is in the Borough of Camden. It is well known for the large and hilly parkland of Hampstead Heath, it is also known for its intellectual, artistic, musical, and literary associations.

Hampstead has some of the most expensive houses in the London area, or indeed anywhere in the world, with large houses going for over 20 million pounds sterling, the village of Hampstead has more millionaires in its boundaries than any where in Britain. It is also mentioned in the Doomsday Book.

Apart from taking leisurely walks in the wonderful Hampstead Heath and having a pint or two at any pub near there, there are other things for the visitor to do in Hampstead, such as visiting the Sigmund Freud Museum (the house he lived in till his death), Keats House is where the famous poet Keats lived.

Fenton House a 17th century house that is owned by the National Trust has a beautiful garden, with roses and an orchard. Inside the house there is a working kitchen and an early keyboard collection which is played to visitors, also a collection of Georgian furniture, porcelain and 17th century needlework pictures.

Kenwood House is another 17th century house, with large gardens and an impressive collection of paintings including some by Rembrandt, Gainsborough, and Turner.

Many famous people have lived and live in Hampstead, people as Charles Dickens, John Constable and T.S. Elliot, and many, many more, currently the people living here are Constantine the II of Greece, Stephen Fry and Hugh Grant as well as others.
