The smallest of the Ionian Islands well known as the secret meeting place of the ancient Greek Gods Poseidon and Amphitriti, as well as Antonio's and Cleopatra's.

The island is located on the south of the island of Corfu, opposite the towns Igoumenitsa and Parga and counts only 2,300 people.

There is a choice of crowded sandy beaches, quiet small ones, walks in the interior of the island in the olive groves, the windmills and old mansions. An important visit is at the museum in Gaios.

Diving is an experience in paradise at this island where a whole underwater world appears in millions of colours.
Next to the island of Paxoi is located the island of Antipaxoi with the beautiful sandy beaches of Vrika and Voutoumi.
